Andreas Xanthos is a medical doctor. He was elected a Member of Parliament for Rethymno, with SYRIZA, in 2012, January 2015, September 2015, and 2019. He was appointed Alternate Minister of Health in the first, and Minister in the second SYRIZA/ANEL coalition government.
