Formally the Greek Council on Shared Parenting, the Joint Custody Association describes itself as a “scientific, non profit association”, “the Greek chapter of an international scientific movement, the International Council on Shared Parenting”, that “struggles to change the child rearing model into shared parenting whether the parents live together or not”. During 2020 it became one of the prominent groups lobbying for family law reform.
